I launch my Windows Media Player everything comes on fine, but when I click on "Media Libary" or some of the other tabs, the program crashes and I get the following error:
Ive googled my error and tried some fixes for the wmp.dll error; such as commands I typed in the "run" box on the start menu, and the obvious steps such as reinstalling and deleting the dirctory, then reinstalling etc..but nothing I've tried has fixed it.
I can still play music if i go into the directory where the audio file is then opening it, but this is really annoying, and I prefer WMP over any other because you can rate your music.
Well anyway I went through a guide on www.tweaktown.com on optimazing windows xp where I had to edit some of my registry settings and some services. Maybe their was something I changed here that I wasn't meant to.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
