i know this has probably been done before but i wanted to see a new thread on it cuz many of us change our pc specs constantly. anyway i want to see what ur pc specs are and what you get on crysis. here are mine:

Asus P5Q Pro mobo
2 gigs corsair 800mghz ram
Radeon 4850 overclocked GPU
Intel E8500 oc to 3.8 gighz with Zalman fan running 48-49 degrees on full load

I didnt have my cpu ocd when i played regular crysis but i managed to get 30-40 FPS average with this setup:

all details high
playing resolution at 1680x1050
No AA

On warhead i get around the same thing even though crytek insisted they optimized they engine even more. this, i havent really noticed. this setup, to me atleast, is a fairly high mid range setup. i know thats kinda pushing it considering i see some guys with quad cores and 3-4 gpus running but thats just TOO much IMO. anyway post ur stuff.

EDIT: Btw system cost was around $850 but brought down to $750 after mail in rebates.

I would be interested to know how Crysis performs on a Phenom -

I have:
Phenom 9650
Radeon 4870
4GM RAM (physical, limited to 32-bit visible to the o/s)
XP-Pro

I'm concerned that the CPU will be a problem. I have a 24" syncmaster running at 1920x1200 so would like to play in that res if I can.

I can't edit my own post - says there's no permissions? Anyway - Obviously meant to type 4GB, not 4GM :)

My setup in sig. Crysis runs maxed out (no AA) at around 45-60 FPS constantly at 1280x1024 res.

You can use the quick edit option to edit posts.

Anyway, Crysis maxxed out (no AA) at 50-60 fps (dips to 40 on really intense scenes) at 1920x1200 on the setup in my sig
