I just installed Farcry 2 and so far every person that is talking sounds like I have them playing at 2wice the actual play speed.
The words are all jumbled togeather and sounds like somebody is rushing through their script!

Anybody else having this problem?

I have a Audigy 2 Sound Blaster
XP Pro with all service packs
GTX260 EVGA card
and a DUO 2 8400.

Any help would be appreciated!

Upgrade audio drivers? maybe? I know it yelled at me and literally said "Your video card drivers are to old. Please upgrade them" I laughed. So I did and it runs fine. Just a thought that if it is picky with video drivers maybe sound as well?

Do as Jay2tall said. Update your drivers. Thats the best bet. I am going to update mine as well but only because I like to keep my stuff runing optimally. I have a Creative SB X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Fatality Pro edition.

Yes the voice acting sucks and has no feeling but its not making it run together or go very fast.

I could barely make out what they're trying to say. It goes super fast and the subtitles disapear fast too =/

I noticed this too in the beginning scene with the man in the jeep...Doesn't seem as bad later in the game.
