I have a question of moral issues
i legally bought Company of Heroes when it released and enjoyed the game
recently though the people who i go to school with have been intrested in having a Lan party playing the game and others along with it.
So i dusted it off and tried to install the game on my laptop at school
I became frustrated when i got an an error called ( Error 1305.Error reading from the file E:\program files\THQ\Company of Heroes\WW2\Movies\BlurDDayMovie_wLogo_RCrem.avi. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.)
so i thought my disc was dirty, i took it out washed it off and got the same result. I than took a disc doctor to it and still the same result.
I am running out of options
I did see that i could download the file off of torrent sites
but i feel like that would be contributing to piracy, i do on the other hand have the right to play the game i purchased.
So i am asking if there is anyway to fix my issue.
If there is a legal way to obtain the file
If i would be in the right to download the file
Or should i suck it up and play different games.
i can try to get the patches i dont think they will matter much as im having problems installing the game.
It seems kinda strange they would require extra stuff right away but its worth a shot
Thanks for the idea i will let you know how it goes
hmm, maybe not if you are having trouble installing it, however, they make you register for a reliconline account even if playing the game offline as well as get some of the opposing fronts data so you can play online. at least that is what i think.
