So I recently installed Crysis Warhead and have been playing it a lot and the last couple days it's been crashing quite often...maybe every 10-15 minutes (sometimes more and sometimes less) but it's always seems to crash in the middle of when I'm fighting bad guys or in an action scene.

System specs:

E7200 @ 3.16ghz
4gbs DDR2 800 RAM
EVGA 9800GT (stock speed)

I did a couple modifications to the config file on the easy difficulty level like giving me unlimited guns and ammo but then I changed that back to the normal config file because it was just too easy and not enough fun and it still is crashing. The only other thing I did was try and install the CCC Pack v1.3 but the installation failed in the middle (saying I was missing a file or something) and the installation aborted. I don't think it's related to this though because it was crashing before I tried to install the pack...maybe just not as often.

The other thing Crysis Warhead has started doing is dropping my screen resolution from 1600x1200 to 1024x768 when I exit the program and restart it. It'll still be in full screen mode--so it seems to save whether or not I want to play in full screen mode...not just the resolution.

Also I was noticing in some spots, especially the ice levels but in other places as well that sometimes the game will just freeze up for a second and get 0 fps and sometimes it'll drop down to 10-12 fps during intense action scenes. I'm running the game on Gamer settings, no AA which is what the game detected as optimal settings. I also tried to lower the visual settings to mainstream and that seemed to work a little better but I didn't notice a big difference in FPS and there was still lag...almost like it didn't matter which setting I used.

Any suggestions?
