I have been trying to update the BIOS on my K7S6A but I'm told on the Elite Group website that it's impossible to create a Bootable System Disk in 2000 so that I can update. How do I go about updating the BIOS then?

Download a Win98/ME bootdisk, and install it into floppy. Delete all files but Command.com, Io.sys and MSDos.sys. Copy your Flash files to that floppy and you have a disk can be used to update BIOS.

 Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.

Just get a floppy that contains bootable DOS from an older version of Windows, say Win98. Then boot your system off that floppy and update the BIOS.

If you need a bootable floppy, download the win98se disk image from http://www.bootdisk.com

As has already been suggested just delete everything but Command.com, MSDOS.sys and IO.sys and there you go.
