Unable to join AOE games with Router BEFSR41

Hi, everytime I attempt to play multiplayer I usually can't join or people below me are 30 ping causing the game not to start. I have router lincsyc model BEFSR41 connected to two computers with different IP addresses for each. I have viewed several help sites and tried many things. First, I made both of my computers static IP address at 192.168.1.6. Then I went to portfoward.com and changed my ports to 47624 to 47624 on both UDP and TCP, 6073 to 6073 on UDP, and 2300 to 2400 on TCP and UDP with all enabled and at IP address 192.168.1.6. It worked before I upgraded firmware with the firewalls I have so I doubt it's them. Help is appreciated. Thanks.
