I have a 2wire hw1000 home portal, SBC DSL.. I have one computer
connected via ethernet, and one usb. I cant get a third one to connect
via wireless( linksysy PCI win 98).. I think i have tried everything,
but the only way it will even see a signal is if i change the setting on
the 98 machine to ad-hoc.. the it will see the connection, but nothing
works, I cant even ping the home portal...........
