My Asus A7V8X does not complete bootup sequence

Hello

I recently purchased Asus A7V8X motherboard. I
installed it with MSI Geforce4Ti 4200 64MB display
adapter, 512MB Kingston 333MHz DDR memory piece, AMD
Duron 1200MHz processor, Philips 107E monitor and a
atx power connector from a 300W power source unit.
With this limited configuration the system should
conduct some basic BIOS startup testz and display
informantion on monitor.

Unfortunately the monitor remains displaying text
'no signal input' when the system is powered up. All
peripherals do work with my old motherboard.

I wonder what I might be doing wrong.
I greatly appreciate your help.

I would start with reseating the video card, double checking the cord to the video card from the monitor. Does it beep at all?

it does not beep, cord checked, did not help

Infy 102:
When you turn the power on on your computer does anything happen, like fans turning?
Or do you mean computer starts but no video signal?
