I am building my new PC -- Don't do much gaming but would like to play with MS Flight Simulator.
What input devices would you recommend for this game?
Thanks
Tom

Logitech Extreme 3D pro.

it's cheap and works fine. I have literally 10's of thousands of hours of flight sim dating back to MSFS 5.1 on Dos and any input device works fine as long as it's decent quality. The CH products are too expensive and force feedback is overrated for flight sim.

My dads a bit of nut for these things. He has a sensor that sits on top of his PC monitor and reads an emittor that he attached to a babeball cap.
Its all binded to change the view so when he turns his head, the sensor reads it and pans / tilts the on-screen view.

Clever stuff, damnded if i know what its called.

Hi Pr:
"My dads a bit of nut for these things" Really?? :) Let me guess, He flew a Cobra or an A10 in the first Gulf War Lol I knew the game had gotten sophisticated, but I didn't think it had progressed this far. I probably can't afford it, but I will look for it, Sound Cool
Thanks
Tom

Hi Boonality:
"Logitech Extreme 3D pro" -- Sounds like a good choice and if it doesn't work, it will not have broken the bank.
Thanks

See if you can find a Saitek X45. A great stick/throttle combination.
I don't think they make them anymore, and have been replaced by the X52.
However the X52 is plasticy, and has a twist rudder, rather than the rocker rudder on the X45
