Hi

Sorry if this is not the right place to ask that question....

I use XP SP3........I always search of new releases of DirectX9c in the net looking for any updates..

2 days ago I installed Direct X 9c Nov2008 from Microsoft..........

Today I have installed STALKER CS , it asked me to update my direct X,Should I accept or cancel it ? (as I have a version of DX newer than the time that game was released...

So in general if I have installed the latest DX9 , should I do it again when installing some game or not ? which is better ?

Thanks

It doesn't matter. They'll both work fine.

+1 to the above. Continue with the DX install, the package is designed not to overwrite newer copies.
