My V120c's battery is starting to show signs of old age and not
holding a charge as long as it used to. The battery and phone are 19
months old. This is a FreeUp system which gets relatively little use
and has worked fine for this period of time.
A new battery costs about $35 according to Moto. I know that VZW (and
just about everyone else) no longer offers this phone - or style.
So, it is worth spending money on this phone or upgrading to a new
phone?

If phone still suits you, then pick up a battery. Can get OEM ones off Ebay
for $10-15 usually with the shipping.

Then again, if you want a phone with "better" features,
different interface, or are tired of the old one, I suspect
you can get a new one from Verizon at a steep discount
(requires new two year contract, I'm betting).
Worth considering anyway, especially if you plan to
stay with them for the long term.
