which amd core?

I know I saw somewhere how to identify amd cores ( palaminoe, thouroubred, etc.) but i can't rember where. Anyone have the link or thoughts.

Thoroughbred B cores are the latest, I think.

I can atest to the B cores great over clocking abilities. They handle heat much better. IM overclocking my 2400xp+ about 450mhz with just a coolmaster heatsink/fan. My palamino 2000+ could not overclock that much without getting to hot for my likings.

Yep. However, I suggest getting a Barton. Why? First, more L2 cache, and second, 333mhz FSB, and your motherboard is designed to take full advantage of the increased FSB. I seriously want to see how high I can stably OC my 2500+ Barton on my own A7N8X deluxe, with 2x512MB Corsair PC3200s! Gotta love that twinbank!
