Anyone know if I can install NXE without having an Xbox live account?

I can easily hook the 360 up for internet access, but I don't have a live account, can I still download NXE?

Thanks,
J

I've done some more reading on this, and this does NOT appear to be the case. It looks like you are prompted to download the update when you sign into Xbox Live....

You can just make a free XBox Live silver account...

To answer my own question (and for others)...

Yes you can, I've just done it...

Hooked up the XBOX to my router, turned on the XBOX, and it prompted me to install the update.

So that's good then.
