Got a new harddrive from western digital its the 7200 rpm caviar limited edition with 8 megs of cache. It is working perfectly, xp boots in 25 seconds and is almost silent compared to my old harddrive. Recently, i set my computer to go on standby, usually when i want my computer to wake up i would press the wake up key on my ibm usb keyboard. Well the keyboard sucks and just died on me one day, so i have to press the power button on the case now to wake up the system. Trouble is, the first time i woke up my computer with the case key, the hdd led lit up and is now constantly on. Its not that big of a deal but i like my stuff to work perfectly.
Has anyone experienced this issue? is it serious?
