Anyone else hear waiting for Aliens Colonial Marines?

Title says it all. I am very excited about this game. It's hard to beat the Alien franchise for story and horror, hopefully they get it right!

Oh lord, I loved the first Aliens vs. Predator so much ... I'm really looking forward to Colonial Marines.

what what what! I love that franchise, I played AVP on the playstation cr@pped my pants playing as a marine and turned it off lol. I think im braver now though... When what where why?

hmm just been looking this up, there are rumours it has been canned?
Release was due for end of 2008, erm now......

Amazon.co.uk still has it listed for a Jan 31 release date.

Kind of a strange time to release a game, if you ask me, and I've heard 0 news about this game since mid-year.

Still, I hope it will still be released.

Another here with it on Pre-Order. Can't wait to see how well it works as a squad based game, we've already got 4 of us up for it

I'm waiting for the "Aliens" FPS, "Aliens" RPG and possible resurrection of "Face of Mankind", which used to be the closest and best thing to a survival/horror/scifi "Aliens" MMORPG/MMOFPS. I used to play Aliens vs Predator 2 once and then for many years but noticed a few months ago that the servers are not working anymore.

Besides "Aliens", I have always kept an eye on games based on "Terminator" franchise. Next summer there will be a "Terminator 4" game but it will probably be a typical average or crappy movie-based game.
