Every time I try to launch a game/map editor (Unreal Tournament 3, Crysis, Far Cray 2, COD4, Oblivion) I get a recurring problem with my mouse that makes it impossible to navigate the maps. Whenever I try to move the camera around in the render windows in any editor my mouse instantly aims straight up and spins uncontrollably, any direction i move my mouse the screen still looks up and spins to the right. It has done this with EVERY game editor I have EVER used on my current PC. any help is greatly appreciated I have been to many boards already about this and have had little lasting luck fixing the issue.

Thanks for the help!

Well I figured it out after extensive searching if ANYONE ever comes across this and needs the answer just Ctrl+Alt+Del and end process tree on DWM.EXE (Desktop Window Manager) and it solves the problem with no adverse side effects.
