Everytime I think I have it figured out I read a conflicting report. So any opinions or advise would be great.
I am fixing to upgrade my system by purchasing a new Motherboard, CPU and Memory. They system will be used for Gaming for the most part. The two motherboards I am looking at are the Asus A7N8X and the Asus P4G8X. I want to buy the fastest CPU I can (Still I am going to overclock) and put 1Gb (2 X 512mb) to take advantage of the dual channel options on both of these cards.
I saw where Tom's Hardware did a comparison of the Barton 3000+ up against the Pentium 3.06Ghz w/HT but what it showed the P4G8X having RDRAM in it but it doesn't seem to support it according to ASUS. HELP!!!
