Hello - - I was running Win 98on my old computer. I purchased a new computer
running XP Pro. The hard drive from the old computer has been installed as a
slave drive on the new computer. I am trying to figure out how to transfer
my adress book, mai and settings from OE on the slave drive to the OE running
with XP.

I have tried running Settings transfer wizard, but it will not let me get to
the slave drive to transfer the data. I can copy and paste files from the
slave drive to the new drive, but I don't know what files to copy nor am I
wsure that will provide the result.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks

Try importing your email and address book from the other disk. It goes
something like Import, point it to the correct folder / file and go. It's
quite easy!

As Bill says, if you can see the other drive, then use File>import> and
follow through.
If that won't work, then copy all the dbx folders, including
folders.dbx, to your new drive - in a new folder on the desktop for ease
of use, then try File>import again.
Note that the folders may be marked as hidden by XP, this can be changed
via control panel>folder options>view>show hidden files and folders.
