What do you fokes think ?K7N2G-ILSR By MSI looks pretty cool to me. I like the fact that you can adjust the bios from windows. On the other hand, I like the way ASUS put a GB lan cannection on it's board. What I woudl like to know is the real deal. Someone who has tried or tested both boards side by side and knows the low down and not just the fluff. I read an artical. The MSI board is suppose to have qhite an edge on the ASUS. The biggest disappointment I have seen in both boards is the fact that they did not have any IDE raid options available. Only ATA or a Combo of ATA and SATA. MSI almost did it by putting an extra connector on the board. Then they got brain freeze and only allow that connector to control one drive. At least that's what I understand, even if I hope i'm wrong. I have an ABIT AT7-MAX board that I want to retire. But , I have yet to see an Nvida board with both ATA ans SATA raid installed. Further more...I wish they put more funk in the truck. What would have been the problem having 4 SATA connections so you coudl do some bad azz raid stuff...U know...like 5 or some 0+1 stuff .

SOUND CHIPS? I read the comparison between the two. I heard it mentioned that the MSI boards don't really use the NVidia Audio and the ASUS does. Is this true? They both are using the realtec 650. Does the ASUS have a beefier sound card or not? Let me know what you fokes think.

Who knows even, maybe you might be better off using your current sound card and not using the on nForce sound?

I have a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz card and am wondering if I would be better off using that when I upgrade to the MSI K7N2 or ASUS a7N8x or using the onboard.

Anybody have any ideas?

Only Chaintech's nForce2 doesn't use nForce APU, every other nForce2 w/ MCP-T board uses nForce APU
