possible to change BIOS??

I have a Compaq presario PC with a Via Apollo Kt133 Chipset, however my motherboard is oem and it is a FIC AZ31. My question is; Is it possible to change the default compaq bios that it comes with and flash it with a bios version for the az31?

NO!

The Basic Input Output System is code written for each motherboard, and it's chipset. You cannot interchange them like you can Operating Systems... it is so specific as to only work on the motherboard it's written for.
