Review by Ryan Lord.

Battlefield developer DICE takes the first-person genre to new heights with their latest title Mirror's Edge. Find out if a first-person running and jumping game is worth the possible motion sickness.

I've been waiting for a decent review of this game. I used to indulge in a little (mild) parkour until I dislocated my knee (permanent ligament damage) and loved the concept but could see so much potential for a poor game.

Please EA, don't ship this one with SecuROM, this could be the game that pushes me over the edge. I'm already thinking about going NVidia for the physics, despite having an HD4870. (wish I could stick an 8600 in just for physics)

sounds like a fun game. Now if only I had some more time...

Will definitely be looking to pick it up for the PC.

Interesting that you guys gave it a higher score than most mainstream review sites. :p

As I understand it AMD graphics cards can do the physics also. Just not as efficiently.

It isn't even a matter of efficiency, but a matter of who owns AGEIA and the rights to their software. If AGEIA was still 3rd party and had decided to make their drivers work with GPUs, I'd imagine both ATI and Nvidia cards would be supported more evenly.
