I've set up a WLAN with a Netgear DG834G, a Fast Ethernet connected desktop,
a laptop with a WG511 and a desktop with a WG111. Both the WG511 and WG111
are approximately 50 to 55 feet from the DG834G and are in the same room.
The WG511 connection seems just fine with 84% signal strength indicated and
a consistent indicated connect speed of 48 Mbps. File transfers to/from the
Fast Ethernet connected PC are very good.

The WG111 shows a signal strength of about 68% but the indicated connect
speed is all over the map, anywhere from 1 Mbps to 36 Mbps and transfers
to/from the Fast Ethernet PC are terrible. And yes, it is on a USB 2 port.

Is there something wrong with this WG111 or is it the nature of the beast?
Any ideas?

Thanks

David
