setup AMD XP 2000 & A7N8X

So... how do I know what to set my CPU Freq to? I have AMD Athlon XP 2000 and ASUS A7N8X. I also have PC3200 RAM... Thanks.

The standard FSB should be 133 Mhz. But to overclock is another issue. Ideally the higher the better. But you need to play areound and see what setup gives you the most stability.

My advice is this: Start by updating the bios to 1002.
Then go to the advanced chipset settings I think and start manually increasing the multiplier starting windows etc. and then increase until it gets unstable and set it to the one before that. Then increase the fsb in the same way.

I know this answer seems rushed but I feel bad because noone has answered your question, and I hate when people don't answer my questions.

Use ASUS probe to watch your heat also. Personally, I feel anything over 60C is too damned hot. So watch that also.
