I've decided to get the MSI K7N2 nforce 2 m/b for my 2700xp, has anyone got this board or know if its any good? The choice was made when tom reviewed the board and it came out on top, but i want to know if anyones had any problems?

Thanks in advance

I'm running the K7N2-L. Totally stable and fast. If you are looking to overclock the FSB is limited to 200, and you can't lock the PCI bus. But for non-OC use this board rocks. And as for the review, the reason the board came out on top is it was factory OC a bit.

Here's another great review on your motherboard:

One thing I really love about HardOCP is they alwas give you clickable-thumbnails to many pictures of the product, BIOS screens, etc.

I haven't heard of any problems whatsoever with this motherboard, beyond a few assorted "operator-error" type problems.

Cheers guys, the review was interesting and it seems this board will suit me well. And I love the all red color too! Should go nice with my 9700 pro hehe...

Get it, MSI makes good nVidia chipset based boards. My MSI K7N420 Pro (nForce 420-D) is doing a great job for me.
