I have a piece of Intel se440BX-2 mainboard, now I want to update my cpu from PII-350 to CeleronIII-1.1G, but I found the mainboard can't supply the 1.475voltage.
How can I do?

SE440BX2 has the VRM 8.4 which means it can use the Upgradeware Slot-T. Read the blue section near the bottom of the first post, entitled "THGC Motherboards FAQ".

LOL, did you actually read that thread? I recommend the Slot-T adapter for your board because it's much less expensive. But if you want the Powerleap adapter, go for it!

By the way, I recommend you DON'T upgrade your BIOS, as Intel has been sabataging the BIOS on this board for the last 2 or 3 revisions to kill support for higher speed processors. Why? Intel still sells motherboards, they want you to buy a P4 and board!

I second that. Don't update your bios.

Thank you!
On last saturday,I'v got a 370toslot1 adapter,a 370to370 adapter, a celeronIII 1.1G. Because I'd update my bios to P17, the motherboard display a error message, recommend me to buy a cpu lower than 600Mhz,and not support PentiumIII -E or -EB. Now I konw why! I must to recover my Bios and use the adapters I have got!

Yes, get the older BIOS installed and that message will go away. Now, you say you're using what, a Slot 1 to FC-PGA (pre Tualatin) adapter, and then a Socket 370 to Tualatin adapter on top of that? Don't you think all that adapter stacking might reduce signal strength? Why didn't you just get the danged Upgradeware Slot-T adapter from http://www.strattoncomputer.com, it only cost $20 and would have done both functions!
