After installing XP Service pack 2 on my PC running XP Home edition,
my computer freezes every time I try to change the Desktop appearance
to Windows Xp style. I want to change to Xp style to be able to use
larfe fonts on my destop, the fonts on the desktop are very small now.
Any help will be appreciated.

Right-click on a blank area of the desktop and select Properties from the
context menu. Now click on the Settings tab.

Under the word 'Display:' is your monitor identified correctly? If not, you
need to reinstall your video driver.

Under the words 'Screen resolution' be sure that your resolution is at a
correct setting for your monitor. For example, if you have a 17" CRT or a
15" LCD the resolution should be 1024 X 768 pixels.

Under the words 'Color quality' be sure that the color depth is appropriate
for your video card and monitor. For most recent computers 32 bits is fine,
but your computer may require a lower color depth.
