I was just wondering realy quick. If i put 3 unbuffered blocks of pc2100 ddr ram in my abit kg7 (dimms4-2), will it cause any problems? I have it now, and it seems to work fine, but I can't seem to run any games that use direct3d. I reintsalled video drivers and dx and figured it might be my motherboard. Anyone have any idea if that 3rd block of ram could be affecting something with my video card? Do I have to change any bios settings to get 3 unbuffered blocks to work right? anyone?

Does it have problem with 2 sticks of RAM? If I remember correctly, it only supports more than 2 DIMM modules if they are Registered DIMM.

 Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.

Is this by any chance under win2000 or XP?

If it is, it's likely a software issue with AMD and direct x. The most likely fix is here:

IT's under win98 se, and it works fine with 2 sticks of ram. Someone in the via forums just said that i can only use 3 sticks if they are pc1600 not pc2100, so maybey that's why.
