A very stupid question

I just setup a new system with the following hardware.
Enlight 420watt PS
2700+ XP
2 256mb XMS DDR333 (running CL2.5, CL2 keeps crashing windows for some reason)
Maxtor 80gb 8mb cache
PNY ti4200
A7N8X mobo

I was wondering how I could tell if the two sticks of ram im using are running dual channel or not. The mobo info made it sound like only DDR400 can use dual channel. I installed the nforce drivers off the cd, haven't flashed the bios or anything yet. Sorry I had to ask this, pretty dumb i know :(

But thanks for reading this =)

no, dual channel will work with slower RAM. As long as you put them in the correct slots (according to the manual) it is working.

Maybe they should have worded it better, but what they're saying is that it will work with memory UP TO 400 speed. Relax, it's not "A very stupid question."
