After killing my last mobo (Albatron pevpro) and also damaging my sb audigy with a leaky tube on my water cooling kit....I now have it back up and running....
I decided to try Asus....On my old albatron board I could reach 170fsb (3.06ghz at ddr426 memory clocks)...on the new
Asus p4pe black pearl I also got it up to 170fsb at cas 2 memory timings ddr426....so I was impressed..
But what I was very very happy about was that I could run ALL my benchmarks without any crashes what so ever at these speeds....I did a post a while back about my computer running fine at high fsb clocks in 2d but not in 3d with my albatron mobo.....but with the Asus I do not have the problems at all....so i guess i found the weakest link
