Thx again Will for your assistance. Eventually was able to remove the whole
kit & caboodle by deleting the files in the smartfolder sub-folder,except
the sfshell.dll. Looked for it in Search & was able to delete it from there.
Any app that does not list in the Add/Remove section, & when only partly
uninstalled using it's uninstall; is imo suspect. Your comments on this
observation would be appreciated.

you are just overreacting, how the hell does a search app work without
requesting outgoing connections !!!
