Gonna need a bit more info 
Download CPU-Z and post your specs off that, it will tell you mobo, proc speed and all sorts of useful stuff like that. Your current case / cooling / PSU would be good as well.
If money is no object though, i would recommend you bin the lot and look at a Core i7 build, that will probably set you back $1500-1800 ish but it'll be the nuts, and will last you a good while.
