I just reinstalled my os and got the new drivers for my 9700 pro (cat3.2) and installed DX9. Problem is i cant run 3dm2001 and i cant play splinter cell. Whats going on? These ran fine with DX8.1a and 2.3 drivers. Any ideas?

were u having problems with the 2.3 drivers?
if not then go back to the older drivers and see if problem is still there. Newer drivers arent always better.

The 2.3 drivers made fire appear through walls on splinter cell lol when clearly it shouldnt, i remember all i saw was fire even on the floor below...

I sorted the splinter cell prob with their new 1.1 patch (not only can i run the game i can run it with 16x ani with no probs!) but still cant run 3DMark 2001 for some reason...
