More about turn hardware accelerator
  1. You can run dxdiag.exe and enable hardware acceleration from there, both on the display1 tab and sound tab.

You may just need to update your video or sound driver. You didn't specify if you needed video hardware acceleration or sound hardware acceleration.
  2. Hi mule_sknr,

I read somewhere else that running Windows Updates found an updated driver that fixed this issue...it's worth a try :)

For Windows 7 go to control panel/display/screen resolution then click the advanced settings on the middle right hand side of the page, then click on the trouble shooting tab, from there you click the change settings, when you get to this page you should see your acceleration bar and it should already be on the full setting.
