I`ve given up trying to figure out whats wrong with this game.
Im looking at benchmarks and seeing that this game runs solid.
I have a HD4870 512 and an E8400 at 3.6
Everywhere it says i should be getting around 40fps, im lucky to get 20.
I've uninstalled twice patched, unpatches, reinstalled drivers.
In crysis i get 30+ at high on 1650x1080
Why am i getting such pathetic results? is it just me?
I run duel monitos but my smaller one is only used for aim, CCC, And speedfan

Is it a Sapphire 4870?

There were / are loads of problems with those - you might want to create a custom profile that forces the clock speeds (don't forget to up the fan speed as well) to the 3D speeds and see if it makes a difference.

I've just swapped to a 280 from my sapphire as I was fed up of manually having to change things for just about every game I play.

nah, its a visiontec. i figured out the problem though, in CCC, i had the AA/AF maxed out, and had the "use application settings" unchecked. needless to say i fixed that and am now getting 75+fps

I have to agree with gbh. You don't want to play the game anyways. Its like they never beta tested the game. The maps are horrible. The spawns are horrible. The bullet collision detection is the worst ive ever seen in a big title. Everything about the game seems good at first glance and then starts annoying you.

It seems like the guns have bullets that just self-destruct into thin air after about 40 yards. You can't hip shoot anything unless the barrel of your gun is touching it. Oh and my favorite. You snipe some guy in the upper torso he lays down on his back, behind a wall of course, with a pistol because he's got second chance then someone else steals your kill.

Oh I've only played it on 360, but im sure its just as stupid on pc. I played until 1st prestige and was still never really able to have any fun with it.

Its actually pretty good on the PC. I thought you were talking about a different game then (Tank mission aside >.< )
