i cant get doom 3 to work on my new compaq presario cq60 211dx. can some one help please... i install and then a message pops up and says doom 3 has stopped working... windows will attempt to find a solution... it wont let me play...?

Well this is as far as i got when trying to find your specs. What options did you take? Theoretically you should have no problem.

Doom 3 requirements are 1.5 GHz CPU, 384 MB RAM, DirectX 9.0b compatible 64 MB video card with OpenGL 2.0 drivers, 8x CD drive so the only thing that comes to mind is if you plumped for Windows Vista, and then skimped on the RAM.

i went to canyourunit.com and the only thing that was skimmped on is the video graphics. so now what i need to know is can i upgrade the video graphics on this computer and what steps do i have to take to do so?
