How well would crysis and crysis warhead play on an 8800GT alpha dog, core i7 920 stock speeds, 3GB ddr3-1333 ram, and windows XP? I would be running this at either 1024 x 768 or 1280 x 1024, all settings high, and no AA?

Nope.
At 1280x1024 you'll be able to run most of the 'gamer' settings if you drop shadows and physics down a bit.
You might even get 2x AA.
(I seem to recall I did, a bit slow in parts but reasonably playable)

I have a 8800GTX and an E6850(OC 3.6GHz), 2GB RAM, and Vista.

I think it will run ok. You have a similiar graphics card and a better processor than me. I can run Crysis at 1024x768 on all high settings with no problems.

Windows XP? How well does that support DDR3? you could be missing out by virtue of not upgrading your OS matey. Ill be honest i dont know the answer, just something for you to look up. Otherwise it should run reasonably well...certainly not maxed as its a GPU limited game but it will be pretty.

I don't think XP knows/cares about DDR2/DDR3 due to the HAL.

I had the same card and it ran fine with all details on high except for textures @ 1280x1024. Ran like a pig as soon as textures were turned up though.
