Trying to install the AD&D Core Rules on my laptop, but running into trouble with Windows Vista. Anyone been able to fully install the Core Rules CD and Expansion?

Having the same trouble here. Got the goods to install, but can't seem to save any files I create. I get "Access to C:\Program Files\AD&D Core Rules 2.0\Chars\index.chr was denied" when creating new characters.

I had to change the read/write settings for the Users. I can't seem to remember *how* I did so, but a quick google got me this site (which is not the one I used before, but it does give you some idea):

Hope that helps. After changing permissions, I haven't had any problems.
