Hi, I just got a 2100 xp tbred b in and put it in my machine, and it wont boot! I tested the ram/video card monitor and the only thing im not positive that works is the mobo, though it came from newegg. It makes a long beep and then repeats it costantly every 2 seconds, and thats it. All I can think of is that its incompatible with Tbreds, but im not sure cause this board is pretty undocumented and some sites say it doesnt support it, while other sites, most notably pricewatch.com [yes i know..] bundles area shows the board coupled with 2100s [tbred as well]...So im stumped, the board is a Gigabyte 7DXE, with award bios and award's beep code explanations suck..so any ideas?

Man??? check your ram.. check your cpu.. What brand is your PS.. how much power? sound like that may be an issue... is your graphics card 4x or 8x? it may not be supported by your mobo... what version of bios? flash it...

Try these and see what happens.

To err is human... to really screw things up you need a computer!
