For the most detailed and reliable map, this is the one to use:
http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/CoverageLocatorController?requesttype=NEWREQUEST

My recent travels from Pennsylvania through Ohio to Kentucky suggest that it
is pretty accurate, and even a little conservative. They have added
additional coverage recently for the Extended Network (on the AmericasChoice
plan for example) that does not show up yet.

Yes. Did you know verizon has a website, www.verizonwireless.com. Coverage
map is right there.

Thank you

Beware!

If you don't have the VERY latest plan you cannot trust these coverage
maps. I found out the hard way that having a two year old calling
plan for the Carolinas leaves out the recent additions of Savannah, GA
- Augusta, GA - Eastern, TN, etc.

Always, always, always ask a Verizon customer service rep when in
doubt. They have access to the older coverage maps that are NOT
published on the website.

Old calling plans should still be able to get new PRL's... Unless your old
calling plan has its own custom PRL (other than America's Choice or some
local plan...)
