How can you tell by looking at the desk top that you booted into safe
mode?Is where the icons are bigger? and, If your windows 2000 system
boots to a blue screen and no desktop what do you do first? Thanks

You will see a large message box explaining that you are now in Safe Mode.

Please ask questions about Windows 2000 in a Windows 2000 newsgroup.

Hi,

It will say "Safe Mode" in all four corners.

Yes, because you are using a standard VGA display.

Describe what is happening and give a brief description of the system and
recent history in one of the many Win2000 groups.

You'll know it when you see it.

The words "Safe Mode" appear in the four courners of the screen, and yes it
uses a lower resolution.
