...during Crysis Warhead i usually get between 19-31 fps average is 23, all settings on Enthuseist, no AA, and no Anisotrophic filtering, 1280x1024, i have my card OCed to 655 core, 1412 shader, and 1220 memory, temps are fine, never goes above 57C. i am running Vista home premoum 32bit, my entire system specs are: AMD Phenom 9850 OC to 2.8Ghz, MSI K9N2 SLI Platinum mobo, Corshair TX850 watt PSU, 2GB OCZ Reaper DDR2 1066Mhz @ 5-5-5-15 timings, and a 500GB SATA2 HDD, all newest drivers for everything. what could be the problem?? thanks for any help, also id didn't know which subforum to place this in so sorry if it's in the wrong place.

A quick look at toms charts says your machine should be around 100 FPS at a minimum at that resolution. Before you installed the new card, did you uninstall all the old drivers? or did you put the new card in and dump new driver on top of it? I noticed if I ran crysis in a window it lagged real bad. Go to the nvidia forum under graphics you'll get a better response.

As sdnerf mentioned, crysis has windowed mode issues; trying pressing alt+enter while running the game with fraps running and see if your fps improves.

I used to have a number of issues with Warhead craping out on framerates, but it was because it was actually running in a window with the illusion of running fullscreen.

actually after i put the card in, i did a complete clear and reinstall of windows, (that was about 4 weeks ago), so all the old drivers are gone, and as i said, everything is up to date for software. I am running it in fullscreen, but i make sure of that later today and do some more tests with on board audio off and what not. I'll also make a post on nvidia's forums as you said, ill reply soon as i test some more stuff out, thanks for the responses guys.

Oh and i forgot to mention, even at lowest possible settings, i only get 35-50 fps....rofl

ok, well i ran in all different modes, fullscreen, everything, no changes in anything, turned off onbaord audio, no changes. Hmmm i also made a post on nvidia forums, waiting for reply on that.

Is it getting enough power ?
Does the 260 run at a reduced rate when not enough wattage is supplied ?

Is the BIOS set to x16 in the PCIE settings for the slot it is in?

Is it plugged into a x8 PCIE slot ?

Just a few ideas :-D

yeah, i have a 850watt PSU, with single 12v rail of 70amps.

it is plugged into my x16 slot, the top one.
in my bios it says PCIE frequency 100mhz...

i did a 3DMark Vanatage test default settings(trial edition) and my results are:

P12208 3DMarks
CPU score: 32580
Graphics score: 10102

people on nvidia forums said those are excellent results, so maybe this is just crysis related?

in crysis do you use DX10 or DX9;

2Gb ram in vista? that sounds like a problem. Even when i use the crysis benchmark with 3gb of ram it says i use 800mb or so on crysis alone, and i know vista uses around 1gb, so your cuttin it close, 1gb more ram isnt expensive.
