Valve Says Pirates Are Just Underserved Customers

Well I didn't know these forum rules changed... Can you only post reviews now? I used to post interesting articles now and then like these.

Honestly, I used to hate Steam, but I'm converted, now I won't get games unless I get them through steam. And Valve games = Instant pre-order for me.

What he was saying about customers outside of western europe and america is true, i have seen a lot of people on a lot of forums complaining about games not reaching their local shops much later than here. However, they may have a good interent connection so they make a choice, a wrong one but still a choice.

If people would get their distribution channels in order for games to be on the shelves of every country and in the hands of reviewers a couple of weeks before in every country(give or take a few) then i think piracy among the casual pirates would decrease a lot.
