A friend of mine sais that they are very unstable..

I just bought 2 MSI 655 boards and I am very nervous if they will break down on me =( Would like to hear if anyone else have had problems with MSI p4 boards!?

I don't know about your mobo model, but MSI is my favorite brand based on value, features, performance & support.

My MSI experience is 100% good. My MSI K7N420 Pro is extremely stable.

I don't have any experience with MSI 655. Anandtech says it's good, also says good words for other SiS 655 boards. THG seems to find MSI 655 and other SiS 655 boards fairly unstable, especially the MSI board with aggressive memory timing. If Anandtech is correct, then you should not have trouble with this board or other SiS 655 boards. If THG is correct, then it seems that SiS 655 is a buggy chipset, and it's not safe to go for MSI 655 or other SiS 655 mobos.
