Where is my kart racing game?

I am disappointed that there are not any fun kart racing games such as Mario Kart or Crash Team Racing for the XBOX 360. I have not purchased a XBOX for this reason. My girl friend purchased a 360 and brought it to my house to play on my HDTV home theater system. The 360 games we played looked and sounded fantastic. However, I'm less than impressed by the lack of good console games. You can dismiss this as opinion if you like, but first-person shooters such as Halo are best on the PC where you can use a keyboard and mouse for precision control. The same goes for Oblivion. We did enjoy Forza Motorsport 2 and Soulcalibur IV. Games of this type will always be great on the console. In short, the only reason I'd rather game on the console and not my PC is for the social aspect of playing with friends in my living room. I'm trying to be positive and have fun with the sports and fighting genres, but I can't help but to sit here and wonder where my kart racing game is.
