CRC Errors

Hello,
I just downloaded a few demo's from gamershell.com (both around 240 meg) and I can't extract either due to a bad CRC. I've had this happen with a bunch of large files on win2k and I was just wondering if this is a win2k specific problem, or an ISP problem and if it's possible to fix these files.
