i am looking for a program that can run on windows xp system with out administrator rights (and no install) that will play xvid and divx files. Any ideas?

AMD Athlon64 3200

How can you run somthing without installing it? Anyway, take a look at VLC (VideoLAN) player, it plays ALL media I've toased at it.

try installing somthing like divx player, onto a CD drive. it might work LOL.

winamp can be installed and run from a CD but i am not sure how it would interact with the codecs required to show video

OK, the problem is codecs. With out administrator rights/access there is no way for me to install codecs the normal way (that i know of). I am currently on vacation and with out my daily dose of anime, killing time isn't as fun as it should be.
