First impressions on FEAR 2 demo

I just went through the demo. It scared the crap out of me.

I was very impressed with the graphics and the FPS. It seems as detailed as Crysis but the minimum FPS runs alot higher. I did about 10 benchmarks Min/Max/Average
Min was high 30's-low 40's, max 50-60+, average mid to high 40's. This was done on max res, max settings, on a 25.5" 1920x1200 samsung.

I know that most gamers are hung up on the visual but this game is worth upgrading your sound if haven't already. You need some decent bass to put you in the mood. There was a few times that my arm hair stood straight up just because of the music and sound effects.

The demo is short and sweet..... and scary.

Just played it, it was amazing

The graphics played really nice on my HD3870 (1440*900, all max + 4xAA/16AF). I only have a probem that it stutters sometimes. My FPS just goes from 60 tot 20 and back up to 60's :S

But i really like the gameplay! The atmosphere just feels right

I can't wait till February 10'th

I agree with keither5150 about the Sound
it make this game what it is

and be sure to get some Depends with out them it could get a bit messy
Just kidding but it will give you some Nice adrenaline rushes

I tried the Fear 2's demo and I think the enviroment is too "colourful" compared to the original Fear and Extraction point.

Trully, extraction point was the scariest...

loved the demo...I agree with the "colorful" arguement...but I must remind you that we saw only a thin part of what the game will be
