Anyone know much about the betas for these games?
I read that Dawn of War is going to be more World in Conflict style. Focusing less on base building and that it is going to be more action intensive. Does that mean the games are going to be shorter? Also, is Starcraft2 going to be more like CC2 which has on average 45minute matches? I seem to prefer games that last between an hour and 2 1/2 hours. Seems to be my attention span.
Also, Demigod looks interesting. Stardock is good SOASEmpire is a great game, but almost as much fun playing against the AI as it would seem playing it online (I never played Sins online). Seems like you would have to fully play a game of SOASEmpire in more than one sitting. Demigod looks good as it seems to take the 3d graphics and blend them into a loosely chesslike match (from the screenshots it looks like 3d chess + RTS fantasy).
