From 128k to 256k, on dsl-reports.com many people are reporting a similar discovery when they reset their modems, the debate is whether this is the begining of a roll out for a faster service, or a test for a higher priced service.
Either way I will enjoy being able to host 10 player mohaa games as opposed to 5.
Yeah I've been following that on DSLreports too what worries me and millions of others is the tiered service proposal .. right now I enjoy 2mb down and 384K upstream with road runner for 42 bux a month .. I really can't afford a whole lot more than that

I had RoadRunner cable connection. They sold out to Comcast. The transition (last Dec - Feb) sucked. Lots of down/slow connection. My dowload speed is now about what it used to be (~1.2Mbps avg.). My upload speed has dropped from around 350kbps avg. to 128kbps. Comcast, you suck, bitch!

I live in the middle of nowhere, on the Navajo reservation in Arizona. I figured I'd be the last person in America to get DSL. Well lo and behold, they just got DSL here and it's faster than the DSL I had in Maryland with Verizon. I'm getting around 700 downstream and 300 upstream. It was painful going from DSL to 56K ... thank god I'm back to DSL. Time to get back into online multiplayer stuff.
